Dalebroux Faces Skincare Competition Head On

In keeping with the season, Hope Dalebroux, owner of Hope Della Skincare in Bellevue, is busy promoting her Pumpkin Marshmallow Souffle facial. 
 
The Green Bay SCORE client talks about it with the passion that has come to define her business. After a cinnamon-infused oil soak and exfoliation, she says, “You’ll be painted with an organic pumpkin puree and clay mask to detox and refine. Mentor Group’s Startup Contest Back for Second Year

A local nonprofit is tweaking its game plan and targeting younger companies in Year 2 of its startup contest that puts $8,500 in prize money up for grabs.

Richmond SCORE, which offers free mentorship to small businesses in the area, will open registration for its second annual SCOREcard Competition on Jan. 3.

The contest is open to startups and nonprofits less than 1 year old. The winner will receive $5,000 and one year of free office space at the Richmond Times-Dispatch’s building, while second place gets $2,500 and third gets $1,000.

SCORE Launching Startup Business Competition with $5,000 Grand Prize

The Richmond-area chapter of SCORE is holding another contest for entrepreneurs in the region — with a prize of $5,000 and a year of free office space for first place.

Entrepreneurs who have been in business for less than a year — or are thinking of starting a business — are eligible to enter the SCORECard Business Model Canvas Competition. Nonprofits also are encouraged to enter.
